Reunions

It may be hard to believe that 10, 20 or even 50 years have passed since you last sat in an Incarnation classroom. To celebrate your graduation from Incarnation, we would like to assist every Class in planning an alumni reunion.

Most reunions are held on a weekend and include an Alumni Mass, School Tour and reception in the school gymnasium.
To begin planning a reunion or to get a contact list for your graduating class, please email or telephone:

On September 25th more than 40 members of the Class of 1960 smiled and laughed as a large, gold hand bell they remembered from their schooldays beckoned them to once again enter the doors of    Incarnation School.  It had been 50 years since they graduated from Incarnation School as eighth     graders, and for some of them it was their first trip back.  After a reunion mass, alumni headed to the school for a reception and school tours led by current students.  Alumni enjoyed peeking into their old classrooms with the same hardwood floors and sunny windows that they knew from fifty years before at Incarnation.

While many things such as the coat hooks, chalkboards, and stairways of their alma mater have remained    unchanged, alumni were excited to see the addition of sophisticated  technology into the classrooms.  They exclaimed over the Smartboards and expressed their hope that someday every classroom at Incarnation would have one.  The Class of 1960 was also impressed with Incarnation’s new rooftop playground.  While many alumni have fond memories of recess spent on 175th
Street, they agreed that the roof was a wonderful spot and spent some time admiring the view.  As one alum noted, “It is a pleasure to see the school so well  maintained.”

In honor of its 50
th
Reunion, the Class of 1960 has donated enough money to purchase four reading rugs for classroom Literacy Centers as well as to sponsor a current Incarnation student’s   tuition for an entire year.  We are very grateful to the Class of 1960 for its generosity, continued    support and especially for its   sincere love of our school.
